We are a weekly Dhamma discussion group, established around 30 years ago hosted by Amaravati Buddhist Monastery and organised by senior lay Buddhist practitioners. We meet on Wednesdays at 7.30 pm in the SALA at Amaravati monastery. There is the option to join on zoom as well. We begin with taking the Three Refuges and Five Precepts followed by a period of meditation, a reflection and small group discussion.

Is the group for me?
- Do you have an interest and basic understanding of Theravada Buddhism and some experience in meditation?
- Are you interested in applying the teachings according to Theravada Buddhism to your daily life
- Are you looking for a group of like minded friends to share your experience and learn?
If yes, perhaps the group is for you – why don’t you read a bit more about us in the Welcome and guidance booklet below.
If you like to join the group or would like more information, please get in touch.
