Letting go.

Letting go.

Letting go.

Let gone.

Retreat Centre

This picture, taken last year, will bring fond memories for those of us who knew the Retreat Centre from the PZE (pre-zoom era) – as I expect it will become known. Those of us without those memories have still had plenty of opportunity to let go. What have we all been doing these past six months if not letting go?

Letting go seems a good theme for our Day of Practice – it is at the core of our practice.  Like a stick of rock – it is written all the way through – from beginning to end.  We begin with letting go a little, through a willingness to step back and observe our experience, and discovering the peace which follows; up to letting go a lot – letting go of refined states of mind from deep meditation experiences, and discovering a still greater peace – and knowing by direct experience that letting go is truly the key to the realisation of complete peace.
